My Story
I have been in the hair industry for 24 years and counting; however, it seems as if I have just started my career.
It is crazy how fast time really does fly by. I have given birth to 5 beautiful babies. The last two babies were for two beautiful, deserving families through surrogacy. It was after the 3 last births that I lost over half my hair.
This loss of my hair was one of the most traumatizing things I have ever gone through. I was afraid to wash my hair or to even brush it because I knew that I was going to fill the entire brush with hair! My tears would start falling, and I would feel sick to my stomach.
I came to realize that I was not the only one whose hair was falling out. I also had friends and other family members who were struggling with the same problem. It was at this time that I found my true passion: “ Hair Replacement”!
I have dedicated the last few years of my life to extensive training, becoming educated in all forms of this specialty.
Over 80 million Americans suffer from some form of hair loss. I now work with many people that have suffered from chemotherapy, radiation, alopecia, trauma, burns, genetic balding, post pregnancy, and even more problems. I do what I can to re-build the self-esteem of those who have experienced the trauma of losing their hair.
Because of this trauma, the victims with hair loss have become mentally ill and have compromised not only their mental but also their physical well being. In this industry, making a difference—one head at a time—and changing lives are what my passion and love are all about.
